We kindly ask all clients to read through our policies before booking. These guidelines ensure that every client receives the best possible care and that our treatments run smoothly.

Booking Policy

Appointments can be booked online via our website or by contacting us directly. Certain advanced treatments require a consultation prior to booking to ensure suitability. For some services, a deposit will be required to secure your appointment.

Deposits & Payments

  • Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred if adequate notice is given (see Cancellation Policy).
  • The deposit amount will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment.
  • We accept payment by card, bank transfer, or cash.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

We understand that plans can change, but as a small business, missed appointments have a big impact.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly request at least 48 hours’ notice.
  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or failure to attend your appointment, will result in the loss of your deposit.
  • Clients who repeatedly cancel or do not attend may be asked to pay in full at the time of booking.

Late Arrivals

We ask that you arrive promptly for your appointment. If you are late, your treatment time may need to be reduced to avoid impacting the next client. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment, and your deposit may be lost.

Consultations & Patch Testing

  • A consultation is required for all advanced skin and aesthetic treatments.
  • Some treatments may require a patch test in advance. If this is the case, it must be carried out at least 24–48 hours before your appointment.
  • Without a valid patch test (where applicable), we will not be able to carry out your treatment.

Medical Conditions & Client Safety

Your safety is our priority. Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or changes to your health before each appointment. Certain conditions or medications may mean we need to adapt or postpone your treatment.

Age Restrictions

For insurance and safety reasons, all clients must be 18 or over to receive treatments at The Beauty Rooms Fernleigh.

Refunds & Returns

  • Treatments are non-refundable once completed.
  • Products may be exchanged or refunded if they are faulty or unopened within 14 days of purchase.

Privacy & Confidentiality

All client records, consultation forms, and personal information are treated in the strictest confidence and stored securely in accordance with GDPR.

Salon Etiquette

To ensure a relaxing environment for all clients, we kindly ask that mobile phones are kept on silent during treatments. Please arrive alone where possible, as space is limited and we wish to maintain a calm atmosphere.
